The heart of the MegaTronics line, the MegaTrak® Series 3000 Micro Control Unit allows you the flexibility you need to meet the demands of your business whether you only have a few vehicles or an entire fleet.

Some of the features of the Series 3000:

• Hardware Design - Micro Control Units (MCU's) are designed with a direct,  pay at the pump architecture, like retail, which allows drivers to pull up to the pump of choice and avoid crossing busy islands. The MCU's are interchangeable and spare units are available to eliminate or minimize down time. MCU's are designed to survive extreme hot and cold temperatures. Transactions are stored in the MCU for automatic retrieval by the Host computer. MCU's are one of the levels of data security fallback and can hold 100 transactions when not communicating with the host, or when off-line, like a truck mount. MCU's can be set up for utilizing a smart chip key, a magnetic swipe card, or a keypad entry. They also read keys programmed to capture the odometer reading, the vehicle i.d. and the driver i.d. when inserted into the MCU.  MCU's can be adapted to truck mount, monitor lube reel transactions, tanks on skids, gates or doors.
  
  
• User Friendly Software -  MegaTrak® software provides total accounting for fuel usage with integrated preventative maintenance and parts inventory modules. The software can interface with all third party software programs that track specific maintenance and accounting requirements for fleets. Using powerful sort and filter programs, fleet managers gain complete control over both vehicles and drivers. Using the internal calendar within the software, fleet managers can set up the automatic close-out of  transactions daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly and yearly for easy retrieval. Customized reports and personalized messages to manage personnel can be sent to drivers and customers using the infinite sort and filter capability.
  
  
• Ease of Installation - MCU mounts directly onto the pump and communicates with the site controller through existing AC power lines. This eliminates or reduces unnecessary excavation, concrete demolition or the running of conduit.

• Simplified Maintenance - MegaTrak® modular design makes hardware repairs as "simple as swapping out the unit".  The Micro Control Unit (MCU) is a modular plug-in that is interchangeable, and spare units are available that can be swapped out, thereby minimizing downtime to near zero percent.  See how easy!  Please take a moment and view the video.
  
  
• Multiple Site Expansion or Tanker/Truck Phase-In - Add a hose, add a site, add a gate or door, add a fuel truck at any time or in budgeted phases.
  
  
• Adjustable System Parameters - MegaTrak® System Operators can fine tune the system to keep total control of fleet and fuel operations. At the push of a button many parameters can be changed immediately -- fuel allocation, remote site polling, odometer validation and key authorization to list a few.
  
  
• Fall Back System Design - Four (4) levels of data acquisition for security exist and are utilized for maximum up time. At the lowest level, even the DataKey™ can store fueling transactions.
  
  
• Alternative Fuels - MegaTrak® monitors all fluids to include all of the alternative fuels, such as propane, CNG, LNG, etc. Also lubricants, chemicals, coolants, waste water and electricity.
  
  
• Validated Odometer Readings - MegaTrak® utilizes its ability to read and write information back to the DataKey™ to validate odometer readings before fueling is authorized. Validated odometer readings are essential to the efficiency of a Preventative Maintenance System and to stop shrinkage.
  
  
• User Safety - With the MegaTrak® direct, pay at the pump architecture, drivers never cross busy driveways or stand in line at a central console. This greatly reduces bottlenecks, downtime and safety hazards.
